Here's something for all you foodies and/or bookworms out there: a book release party tomorrow, Wednesday, July 7 for Frank Bruni's new book, Born Round.

Prior to being the Chief Restaurant Critic for the New York Times for several years, Mr. Bruni was the NYT bureau chief in Rome. While both positions sound like dream jobs, he faced obstacles along the way. Surprisingly (or not), Born Round deals largely with Bruni's life-long struggle with food.

Born Round's release party will include a reading and signing from Mr. Bruni alongside conversation with Gail Simmons, who you may know as a judge from Bravo's insanely successful Top Chef series.

Born Round: A Story of Family, Food, and a Ferocious Appetite Release Party
The powerHouse Arena
37 Main Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201
