Now that Memorial Day Weekend has passed (which we all know is the official Summer start date) we are all wondering what lovely summer excursions we have ahead.

While NYCRD does its best to keep you up to date on this city’s best and hottest events, sometimes you want to take control of your own evening. That’s where Vanity Fair’s annual 2010 Summer Guide comes in. I highly recommend printing this baby and keeping it by your desk for quick referencing, because it outlines the best outdoor hot spots, concerts, and annual festivals, some of which you really need to punch into your calendar this instant!
While it’s Outdoor Dining section highlights classics like the Frying Pan and Hudson Terrace, it features some new destinations that deserve a visit, such as Locanda Verde on Greenwich Street and De Santo’s in the West Village. The Warm Weather Events section brings fun activities like Dumbo First Thursdays and Big Apple Barbeque to our attention (I can already taste it!). And the last section lists out every musical event known to New Yorkers (better get Epstein on that…)
