Looking for something new and original to do? Well, the Pen and Brush in Greenwich Village has contacted NYCRD to let everyone know about their 2010 Spring Art Series, which are Thursday night events for women artists. Women are encouraged to come by and show their work, swap a piece of art (such a cool concept!) and join the open mic.

Art Swap
Thursday, May 20, 6 – 9 pm
Bring a work of art from your own collection and swap it for something new. $10 swapping fee.

BYOA (Bring Your Own Art)
Thursday, May 27, 6 – 9 pm
One night only – bring a piece of art and you are in the show (open to women artists). Enjoy conversation, wine and art.
$10 to show a work, all are free to enter and browse.

Open Mic for Writers
Thursday, June 3, 6 – 9 pm
Women writers join in for open mic in the garden. $10 fee for participants. Free to attend.
