LIFEBOOKER: My Open Letter and Free Manicures

Posted by ricebird |

Dearest Lifebooker,

We've been friends for awhile, right? I use you, you take my money, I introduce my friends to you, you take their money as well...all in exchange for delightful services, of course. It's a win-win.

Until now.

You see, in my Facebook feed yesterday morning there was a post from you promoting free manicures for new users. It made me happy for those who have never used Lifebooker before, because you can start using eachother. It also made me happy because it’s blog fodder. But deep down inside, my uber-selfish side cries… WHAT about ME?! Where's MY LOVE? Are my nails not chipped!? Are my cuticles not rough?!

SOBBBBBBBB!!!

I don't know if we can still be friends. This all quite emotional for me.

Maybe in time, Lifebooker. Just give me time.

Sorrowful tears,
Katharine

.....ahem...anyway.....

For those of you who don’t know what Lifebooker is, they are a discount beauty booking service. (Never pay full price again!) To ease in new users, they’re baiting the NYC hook with a free manicure. You should bite – all it will do is round out your edges.
